Conclusion:
This concludes the Photovoltaic Output Packet. I have covered my personal pathway, as well as the fundamental knowledge of solar energy. I have also covered the design and installation of residential PV systems. In addition to the OP, I have created a learning module on the new GEL site that covers more of the concepts and equations in-depth. It is my hope that this OP has satisfied the content course requirement and exhibited a rich learning experience worthy of an independent MSc course of study.
Reflection:
Wow what a big output packet! I truly feel close to completing my MSc program at this time. I remember back at RDI in 2011 when I stood up and told the Gaia Community that I wanted to be known as the “Energy Guy.” This was long before I knew anything about solar energy. My readings have also verified for me that access to renewable electricity is the first step in the critical path to a harmonious relationship with nature and the eradication of poverty. Upon completion, I am more aware of how much I have learned over the past 6 months, and how much I have intentionally grown towards my personal, professional and project based goals.
