Conclusion
On this page you will find a summary of my years outcomes, the outcomes of this project and a look ahead at the coming year.
Conclusion
This year has been one of vigorous growth, it has surpassed my expectations! OP2 fulfilled my goals for Land-based permaculture. OP3 fulfilled my goals for both, teaching/leading and Community engagement. OP4 fulfilled a niche skillflex of passive solar I outlined in my Skillflex chart. The orientation tools fulfilled my Project management goals in their use in every OP and project.
The hard-skills I have gained are pushing me towards a more diverse skill-set adding to my personal and professional resilience and adaptability. The skills I have gained are solid stepping stones that are assisting me to build my bridge across the socio-political-ecological divides. I am grateful to have found this learning path with Gaia U, as I see no other way I could have become who I am now!
Learning Review outcomes
I am pleased to say it was well worth taking the two months on pause to complete this review. To review the amount of content created and experiences had in a year, takes time and diligence. I was particularly pleased with my journaling, being able to look back into these windows rekindles memories and feelings which makes for a rich experience. This project has successfully wrapped up the loose ends of my year, preparing me for another full year ahead.
I hope his report has; illustrated the abundant yields this pathway provided me, gave you a glimpse into my un/learnings and outcomes, showed my successful use of design processes, communicated the pattern of my year and above all demonstrates my dedication and gratitude for this path.

Future plans
This coming growing season I will be living at Metta Earth, an organic farm and yoga institute in Lincoln, Vermont USA. I see I have a full year ahead of me with so much potential for immediate and long term yields. I was just invited to teach in these courses - external link
I will be focusing this coming year on a Permaculture “listen project” to extract a pattern language of teaching permaculture. It will involve collecting feedback and interviews. The idea is to synthesis the best of what is being offered into a comprehensive applicable guide for teachers.
My hard-skill flexes of farming, Ecovillage design, teaching and leading, community engagement etc. will continue and be a complimentary input to this project. I will also move foreward with my plans to start a small permaculture business, writing a plan, networking and researching different structures such as the L3C Limited liability that acts as a non-profit.
I am excited for another transformative year at Gaia U!
