Welcome
Welcome to my life and Career Review! This review represents one small curated corner-room in the museum of my life. My life has been one of constant change and an abundance of diverse experiences. I have stacked the stories of my life that have shaped my view of the world, to give you a broad-glimpse of who I am. The stories don't flow in chronological order so you can refer to my Life Movements time line (to your right) to get oriented. To access all my OPs (project reports), see right column of the Resume page here.
My intention is that this Life Review is a living document of my action learning pathway, one that continues to teach me throughout my time at Gaia U and beyond.
For you readers/reviewers concerned with time: I have many links to external media, these are not necessary to visit but will give you more detail of who I am. The page L&CR Extras is not a part of my core report it contains proof of my process and more media. To navigate through the pages of this report use the navigation menu at the bottom, or the tabs at the top of each page.
I hope that you enjoy this homespun yarn of my life!
Summary
In this home spun yarn of my life you will hear what I learned from my experiences traveling in Mexico, Africa and India. I give you a glimpse of what I learned as a member of the US Coast Guard and being a real caveman. See what I learned from my experience of dropping out of school on a spiritual vision to find my Swiss wife in the jungles of Mexico! I detail how permaculture design courses changed my wordview and my trajectory leading me to Gaia University to seek a career in the EcoSocial field.
I am a 7th Generation Vermonter, working towards the goal of living a regenerative lifestyle, which has a positive ecological and social impact. Presently I am an instructor at Yestermorrow Design / Build School, teaching and inspiring the next generation of earthen oven builders. Building earthen ovens/stoves and baking sourdough bread are two of my great passions (image galleries)! I am now starting my action learning pathway at Gaia University in Ecosocial Design. My wife Corinne and I live at, and are members of Kailash Ashram (GMSY) in Middlebury, Vermont.
