I just finished my LIPD! It has been a very helpful experience for explaining my project. I was able to step back and explain the overall direction of where I am trying to go and piece together the components one at a time. This has helped me to be able to explain it to other people, I have already had more luck explaining it than I had before. I have processed a lot of the difficulty I've been going through in explaining my ideas to other people. I feel like I have a much better handle on it, though I am anxious about what other people in these fields will think.

I was originally going to split it into "projects" similar to the overview outline on the introduction page, but decided to re-arrange the goals into more topic centered projects. I am really happy with how it turned out. I like making the names of the pages simple and combining elements in a way that shows people where the important information is. I put special effort into graphic design, making all of the xmind maps match the theme. I was a little confused on what to write about the output packets but I settled on what material I was going to put into the output packet itself and the objectives for each project. It makes sense to me, and I see these output packets as primarily helping me organizing my own thoughts.

I have finally got to work on my LIPD and it is coming together quickly. I am a little behind on TALC 1, but the LIPD is more important to me right now. I hope to finish it tonight. Writing my LIPD is really helping me piece together my project. I am feeling a lot better about it than I was last week. I have made plans to go to Emerging Leader Labs and will be leaving on Tuesday. I am in Norman right now saying goodbye to people and the town itself. I will miss this place.

I am having a really hard time concentrating. A lot has happenend in the last two weeks. I broke up with my partner of over a year, nearly got hit by tornados, twice, my neighborhood flooded, I was asked to come to the Emerging Leader Labs for the summer, exchanged emails with Andrew Langford about a Regenerative Enterprise Design program, and skyped with Gregory Landua about Regenerative Enterprises and Financial Permaculture. My head is spinning with new spins on my ideas. I am also very stressed out. I have a few days to complete my LIPD because the server was down. I want to finish it this weekend, but I can't sit still long enough to write. This is the first I've been able to. It's good, maybe it will get me going.

I am concerned that my focus on Holacracy may not be in line with Andrews vision for the Open Topic program at Gaia U. I am hoping that I can work it out, but I don't know.

I spent most of the day yesterday developing my own version of the Business Model Canvas. I am really excited about using it and sharing it, though don't know if I want to publish it publicly, best wait.

I finally got to have a down to business talk with Allisa. It seems like I have a plan worked out to consult with them. We also set up an NVC practice group. I am very excited but also nervous. I'm not sure how well I'll do, maybe that's why I threw so much effort into the Business Model Canvas. I am glad that I did that, it will make things much easier.

Dhara is back after two weeks of vacation. I am not having a hard time finding time to study because she's glued to the computer. It's been thunderstorming so I can't take her out. I'm trying not to be too hard on myself and preparing myself for more outings when the weather improves.

I am finally starting on my LIPD. I have been feeling very unstable, not knowing what is going to happen next, and having considerable anxiety about it. It is hard to make a plan without knowing the timeline and what else will be in the way of my studies, like a job. I've been talking to Russell, who is in Humboldt with some friends. They want me to come work with them on their farm. I am worried about the time commitment and the lack of building the skills that I really need. I would rather work for Alan Seid, but he is very busy and hasn't said much to me lately. Hopefully he will send me an application for employment soon and we can see if that's a possibility. I am really not happy about the amount of work I'll need to do to move and the stuff I'll have to get rid of. I am also not sure about Dhara with Steve moving to North Carolina as I'm moving to California/Washington. This could be a huge mess, or it could be awesome. I have no idea and it's driving me crazy. I am also sick, which doesn't help. I will try to make my LIPD plans flexible in time scale, but organized. I may have to go on a program pause starting next month so I can get my shit together, including financially. I think I'll go ahead and tell that to Ariane.

Yesterday and today I haven't done much. I am very anxious about getting feedback about my paper. I started reading Influencer but I'm having trouble focussing. I need to get out of the house. Tomorrow I'll go to the downtown library to read, I need to go by the bank for rent anyway.

I just had a breakthrough. That's really odd.

For the last two weeks I have been on a deep quest of self discovery. I have been spending a lot of time alone thinking. I have also connected with some people who I haven't seen in a long time and haven't taken time to talk to before. This has brought me to many realizations about myself and where I am at in my life. I feel really good about myself right now and optimistic about the future.

I wrote the paper on NVC and Social Change and I just finished it today. I sent it to Alan Seid, Andrew Langford, and Janko Dolinsek to read and give me feedback. I also put it in my portfolio as a separate page and added pictures and bios of all of the speakers of the teleconference.

I am working on peer reviewing Itai Hauben's L&CR.
