Producing compost at home:

After too many disastrous experiments all over 2013, I almost succeeded in producing compost at home after receiving the urban agriculture and compost training . it was critical for me to meet someone who’s actually doing compost at home and benefit from his experience. I am currently still in the process of experimenting the quality of my first compost and will share all the details on the process and the results in my next OP which will be entirely dedicated to this theme.

Notes on Plants Table

  • Although I have learned many things about the plants world from this humble work, yet the tiny number of edible types and having not achieved any significant produce, shows that my work is still at infant stage.
  • The table is missing 4 flower types (pics to the right) which I don’t know their names neither in Arabic nor English. When I purchased them from the nursery, I was given a common name that was not recognized by google. And in one case I planted seeds of a flower called vinca rosea as the seed bag indicated, however the flower that grew was quite different from internet images of vinca rosea. One possible way is to post pictures of these flowers in related online forums and ask for help.
