1. Survey

On this site I survey my own personality, facts about my life situation and my personal wants and needs. The purpose of a survey is to observe, brainstorm and reflect what is already there and on what I can build my pathway and next projects. The main body of this survey is about my longterm goals and visions. They are supported by various XmindMaps which explain my current life situation, interests, skills to improve and skills I want to develop.

Goal: “Think globally, act locally”

Working towards ecological regeneration of human and agricultural systems is my main focus.

In five years:

Understandings:

• Design complex integral human/agricultural systems

• Deep, complex knowledge and skills in the essential areas of life

1. understand the complex systems of interaction between different elements in nature and demonstrate how to use them efficiently and sustainably  

Professional:

• Design landscapes for clients

• Build a small ecological demonstration farm (permaculture methods & integrative design thinking)

1. show sustainable and efficient solutions to small-scale farmers

• Give beginner-courses in permaculture on the farm and elsewhere to spread important knowledge

1. get people motivated to regenerate nature

• Become a professional natural bee-keeper

• Make it integral: Manage everything in cycles and show people small efficient solutions in every-day life

1. compost toilet, naturally built home, electricity etc.

Political:

• Work actively in an organization or association for the protection of nature e.g. soil and bees

• Start a regional or national initiative which helps to increase soil fertility

1. encourage people to take steps to increase biodiversity (planting plants = well-being of bees)

•  Create a local direct selling and exchange network with other producers and consumers

1.   supports farmers in their independence from higher structures (agribusiness and market prices) and create a high degree of self-reliance

 In 15 Years:

• Pass on actively the knowledge to younger generations

1. contribute to educational opportunities in this field by offering internships, workshops or exchange programs in schools.

• After 15 years of experience I am able to offer more specialized permaculture courses for advanced people.

My personal longterm-goals
It is satisfying for me to implement physically visible, practical and comprehensible projects which contribute to the regeneration of natural ecosystems. If things physically change in the world, all the people visiting this place will probably feel well automatically. I want to live a fulfilling and diverse life and encourage other people to do the same. So far I never have had the problem, that I've felt really pulled down because of bad things happening in the world. I think I'd rather transform the bad things into motivation to actively change them, and that makes me happy and healthy. To become a role model and a leader I first need to build my skills and then encourage others to do the same. Otherwise without well-founded abilities and deep specified and general knowledge, I would not feel authentic and accept my role as a leader.
