This page displays my goals for the year along with mind-maps detailing the allies who will help me to achieve them and a skill-flex priority list projection plan.

Goals Articulation

Defining my goals and feeling the confidence to successfully complete them has evolved through a process of self-evaluation, inquiry, and a realistic assessment of recourses, time, and energy. Through an honest appraisal of the commitments I have promised to fulfill, along with the more personal desire to dedicate my focus to art and community, I am learning to more realistically balance my schedule and task lists on a daily basis. My Goals purely in relation to my LIPD along with engagement in Gaia U and the completion of my capstone cycle are as follows:

LIPD

  • Work diligently and consistently through a self-appointed schedule to complete and review my LIPD in a timely manner, submitting for review by August 1st.
  • Utilize best practices and skeletal frameworks of other associates' LIPDs in order to most effectively structure the format and unfoldment of my own.
  • Make mind-maps to consolidate the layers of information which I process to design this OP along with my life in general.
  • Design bulk of project/OP goals based on experiences which have commenced over the past year in order to most efficiently maximize completion cycles and output packet reviews.
  • Use Mahara as the central design template framework, building the OP as I go, reflecting, reviewing, and revising along the way.

Gaia U

  • Keep up with self-appointed output packet completion and review cycles, noted in my capstone timeline.
  • Skill-flex my documentation & reflection practice through weekly journal entries.
  • Actively experiment with Gaia work through designing and self-regulating a consistent schedule of engagement, focusing on the immediate tasks at hand.
  • Check in with my advisor (Jen English) every two weeks.
  • Create a consistent meet-up schedule for think and listens, reflection, and support with at least one fellow Gaia associate (Lauren Bellafiore).

Professional, Personal, & Patrix Goals

Professional/Patrix

  • Harness, maximize, and perfect my skills and abilities as a capable, unique, reliable, practically and inspirationally sourced music producer.
  • Offer music lessons to my community for financial income support, musical skillflex opportunities, creative systems development, peer connection, and mentorship training.
  • Share my music gifts with the world through professionally releasing my 2nd full length album.
  • Refine my live musical performance abilities both independently and through working with sonic comrades to perfect our playing and presence in order to successfully share our collective sound with a larger audience.
  • Become a more reliable, coherent, organized, focused, committed and disciplined human through applying myself with the utmost integrity and presence in all situations.

Personal/Patrix

  • Engage in a healthy, disciplined, and consistent exercise program on a daily basis.
  • Practice a daily ritual of artistry and/or craft skillflexing - Song writing, singing/chanting, instrumentation, poetry, music production, dance, and art.

  • Nourish mentor relations
