Summary of this OP
My “Learning Intentions and Pathway Design” (LIPD) in my Bachelors program with Gaia University is the second Output Packet I am creating on my pathway. It is a collection of ideas that I want to implement during the next six months. The LIPD is an orienting guideline during my Gaia University pathway and gives an overview of the skills I want to build. This Output Packet (OP), unlike my Life and Career Review which looked at my past, is a glance into the future starting at present time and taking into account my longterm goals. For explaining my longterm goals and visions I used the method of backcasting, which starts with defining my desirable future and then works backwards to identify skills to connect the future with the present. This is very helpful to clearly define my next steps, in terms of the focus on different projects and skill-building.
Purpose of this OP
The purpose of this OP is to map an overview of all the different learning intentions and projects I will be involved in until September 2016. My chosen projects are mainly contributing to ecological regeneration in agriculture.
In this OP I predefine my designed and chosen projects in order to work on them strategically with the goal to have satisfying outcomes in the end.
This OP is designed to be an orientating-guideline for me during the upcoming six months. In the end I hope to detect how good this guideline worked for me. Also it will be interesting if I have planned too much and how deep I did dive in.
OP-Design &Abstract:
Just click on the buttons above or in the "Table of Contents" to navigate in this OP.
To see more details of my OP-Design-Process, please look in the supporting evidence.
On the first page I give a short summary what my OP is about and I want to highlight the purpose of my LIPD.
The next pages contain my Learning Intentions and Pathway Design report. On the last page you can see the supporting evidence.
The Core Report is designed by using the framework “SADI”, which stands for Survey (facts), Analysis (possibilities), Design and Implementation. The goal of the Core Report is to become more explicit about my upcoming projects:
- Sanitary system consisting of a compost toilet, a solar shower and natural sewage treatment
- Soil building with a focus on “Terra Preta”
- Natural beekeeping
Feedback
Feedback from LCR, which I am trying to apply in this OP:
- mix of different media
- design approach for OP & projects
- writing introductions and conclusions
- use three folded structure with Commentary, Core Report & Supportive Evidence
