Learning Review 2013-2014

Pre-capstone BSc - Integrative Ecosocial Design

March 2014

Output specification

This Output Packet (OP5 - Learning Review) is the final project of my first year towards a BSc in Integrative Ecosocial Design at Gaia University.

The purpose of this report is to:

  • Communicate the abundance of my year
  • Give a summary of my OP and project outcomes
  • Articulate my un/learnings
  • Demonstrate my success in using design processes
  • Provide easy access to my work of this year
  • Illustrate the quality of my work and efforts

Project specification

This project, the Learning Review is a meta-project.  It is like an onion that has many layers, as it is a gateway into all my work from this year.

I designed this project by; setting goals, researching other associates LR and by looking inwards with the intention to evolve.

My goal for this project is to assimilate teachings, reflect on experiences, share my gratitude and envision the road ahead.

How to read this OP

You can navigate the pages in this report by the tabs at the top, or the navigation menu at the bottom of each page. I have included a mindmap as a table of contents on this page to help (right column).

The first five pages of this report are the Core report, this is the main body of work for this project. There are many links in this OP, for those of you with limited time I would stay within the confines of the Core report. There are some internal links that bring you to an item on another page, the link will tell you where it goes. After visiting one of these click the back arrow in your browser to return to where you left off. The Commentary which is the four pages following the Core report are a deeper look into my process-of and experiences from this project and my year. The last page Supporting evidence is the scrap book of documents, journals and photos which validate this report.

Word-Count:

Core report  - 4050

Commentary - 1680

           Total - 5730

Annotated resources - 490

Supporting evidence - 400

Integration of feedback

This OP has integrated much of the feedback I have received from my past OPs. The two areas I have tried to integrate the most are the layout/presentation of content (what to put where), as well as pushing into the analysis of my processes.

Attached you will find:

  1. The Peer Review form with the element checklist filled out.
  2. A text document with my review of the PoDAPO criteria (I had the same issue you had with text in the excel form).
  3. My copy-and-paste notes of your OP

Your Album SunDog is a great success to be celebrated! Thanks for sharing it and the process with me! All my suggestions are simply in the lens of this review. I think you have done a great job of putting together your experience and knowledge to create this real resource!
