Guidelines for reading

For an overall orientation please see the table of contents above. It is not necessary to read the OP in its presented order, but if you do so, it is easier to follow and understand.
Most of my documents are shared through Dropbox. If you are logged in to Dropbox, you can see them directly, otherwise click the button which says "Continue to document".
To enlarge the pictures just click them. They will open in flickr.
All texts or Mindmaps marked with 'Additional' or 'Optional' include further information and are not necessary to follow the Main Report.
To navigate in this OP, use the tabs on the top or click "CONTINUE REPORT" at the end of each page to go to the next page.

Feedback from previous OPs

  • dissemination efforts: share project work with a wider field
  • wordcount: be more specific about mindmaps
  • extend conclusion
  • more specific about my design thinking: what design principles guided me and what methods helped
  • reflection of design process
  • set specific OP-Design goals and evaluate them in the end

Reflecting on my first Action Learning Cycle with Gaia University

OP5 by Carolina Winter

Pre-Capstone Phase, Action Learning Cycle 1

Bachelor Program "Integrative Ecosocial Design"

DSC00812

Abstract and Specification

Welcome everyone to the last Output Packet (OP) of my first Action Learning Cycle in the GaiaU Bachelor Degree Program "Integrative Ecosocial Design"!

In this OP I reflect about my first year with Gaia University in an appreciative way. I present my project experiences and the OPs I implemented, as well as some ideas for my future pathway.
To reflect about my pathway in a positive way, I used Appreciative Inquiry (AI).

Purpose: Look back and evaluate my pathway

  • reflect about my un/learnings and experiences throughout the year
  • present an overview of my project work and implemented OPs
  • look at useful methods, tools and strategies that were successful to manage my project work and OP production
  • share my learning edges and some ideas about my future pathway

Abstract:

  • Project Design: Appreciative Inquiry as a guiding process
  • Discover: The identification of organizational processes that worked well throughout the year.
  • Dream: The envisioning of processes that would work well in the future by taking a look at the Learning Intentions and Pathway Design (LIPD) and my future dreams.
  • Design: The planning and design processes that worked well throughout the year.
  • Supportive Material: Additional material related to my project work and my personal un/learning journey.
