I was reading Simha's OP today and was quite inspired by his clarity. It reinforced for me that my current OP 4 that I am working on, I would like to make connections and design the key elements. The content is not particularly interesting for anybody else (although quite valuable for myself) and in many ways, I think this is what the Gaia Project documentation can be about. I see this as a great opportunity to raise my skills as Goals Articulation, making little blurbs about what the pages are about.
Two quite significant realizations today:
1 This OP, I aspire to have significantly more process and less content. The nature of this OP is such that I feel it fits perfectly for me to look at my process of how I engage with a catering event. Point of Intervention realizing that the OP is about the design rather than about catering.
2 In my content-less drive, I realize that certain content I don't have but want and that one of the more salient/useful features of pre planning/designing this event is to recognize what would be truly useful to document this year
Point of Intervention
Recognizing that this OP ideally contains information about NCDC catering while trying to compile good strategies for all catering gigs.
Recipes files for all the different events I do would be very advantageous as well.
Realizing that a great piece of this project is to recognize what information I don't have so that I can be hypersensitive to recording/documenting it this year.
One of the values of compiling information is awareness around the missing information to then know what to look for. Create a feedback form to self.
