Goals Articulation, Actionable Items and Outcomes
There is a 3 way spiraling cycle linking Goals Articulation, Actionable Items and Outcomes. It is quite easy to recognize our projects as we articulate our goals, recognize the steps necessary (actionable items) to arrive at those goals and see whether we have fulfilled these. (outcomes).
I am grateful to GaiaU for helping me realize that articulating my next achievable steps is the clearest path toward my goals. Then even as things change I am constantly moving in a good direction.
Outcomes based on actionable Items
1. I describe the Gaia University and beliefs in the Prologue and plan to use this as an OP template for many of my projects.
2. I read and self foraged about design and successfully described the Design process for those not familiar (including myself) and created my own design methodology.
3. I described OP for those not familar -- OP Template.
4. I created an outline for the structure of my future Gaia OPs.
5. I connected Design, Actionable Items, Goal Articulation and then drew the interrelatedness with outcomes as well.
6. I established a workable template for future OP's which includes page layout structure, and my time process, tricks and tools -- things that I want to do with each OP.
7. I explored using colors and fonts within my presentation in text edit and mahara.
OP Outcome vs. Core Report Outcomes
Outcomes in this Output packet are differentiated into the OP Outcomes here and the Core Report Outcomes.
Key Outcomes of the OP aspect
1 Increasing confidence as a designer. I feel infinitely clearer on my own relationship to design in terms of my process and why and how I design.
2 Developing understanding around the OP form. I have spent time considering what aspects of the OP I can streamline and where to dive in. As I will do 6 more OP's, I am grateful that I have begun the process of automating or templating some of these items.
