Summary

I began recording Sundog in late June of 2012 along with my friend Paul Olsen, who aided the process as recording engineer, fellow musical wizard, roommate and producer. You can find more detailed information about the beginning of this process here in my Output number two where I tell stories, document reflections, and describe un/learnings, which took place during the early stages of this project. In this output you are reading now, I will focus on the later half of this project, which covers time spent working on the album between October 2012 and in to late January of 2013. Over the course of this project I have begun to understand the essentials of what is required, both internally and externally, to design, create, and share a musical album with the world. This process has helped me to re-energize as well as deepen my love for music. I have awoken to newfound gifts, inspired insights, and a greater sense of purpose through co-creating the labor of love that is this album, Sundog.
