Goal of LIPD - Abstract - Navigation - Commentary on Previous OP - Review Forms

Statement of purpose

By observing patterns that I have sown or that have been sown in me, I have learned to design a pathway that positively relates to my strengths and passions while it creatively addresses my short-comings and provides continuous learning opportunities. This OP shows a design that first attends to zone 00 (my soul, heart, and mind) and then expands to zone 5 (Gaia, our mother).

Feedback from previous OP's

Nicole Vosper gave some great feedback on my LCR. I updated my Mahara site, making it more easily navigable. I added a conclusion, reorganized my pages within the collection, and edited unclear elements within my writing.

I took several of her comments and applied them to my LIPD. I created links to exterior sites as additional sources of information. I also used my emphasis on self-care in my LCR to shape this OP. Lastly, I updated my goals and skills list extensively.

LIPD

Abstract & Summary

This Learning Intentions and Pathway Design  (LIPD) Output Packet is a look into my future plans that are germinating or that I wish to sow. I chose to frame my plans using the Zones of Use/Interaction often seen in Permaculture. Recognizing that initially designing and managing myself and what is closest to me allows the rest of my visions to become a reality, I have put Zone 00 first, moving on to Zone 3 (Community) and Zone 5 (Global).

Using a variety of questions apropos my visions, support networks, limits, patterns, ideas, principles, actions, appreciations and reflections (see this page for specifics), I was able to demonstrate my wants and needs for each project. To plan each project, I used a mix of backcasting, the Eisenhower matrix, a "Now, Sooner, Later" approach, and the path of least resistance using my skill flexes as a guidance tool.

My aim in designing my pathway is to clarify my vectors, trailblazing as it were. Opportunities present themselves frequently and I have unbendingly said "yes" when it pertains to assisting others. Whether I am seeking these projects or if fate and chance are toying with me is unclear. I have taken many roads at once that are now interwoven, entwined as a strong thread with which I can weave the fabric of my existence.
